Nava Naal Festival begins with flag hoisting

The 10 days Mary Matha Festival begins with flag hoisting ceremony at Sivakasi St. Lourdes Church, on 29th January 2016, Friday. Devotees thronged the shrine at the evening for the 10 days annual festival at the church. A holy mass was held to mark the start of the festival. The church administration made elaborate arrangements for visiting pilgrims. Bishop conducted special prayers. The way to the church wore festive look. St. Lourdes Church decorated with colourful lights, festoons and colour papers.
