ANJA College won MICROFIESTA overall shield

A students’ function, MICROFIESTA’ 2016, was organised by the Department of Immunology and Microbiology of The American College, Madurai, on March 15. Principal M. Davamani Christober, in his inaugural address, elaborated on the MoU the college signed with Concordia College, New York, USA. K. Navaneethakannan, Director, PG Department, highlighted the involvement of students in organising seminars and meetings.

M. Andrew Pradeep, UG Head, spoke about various competitions. Fifteen colleges and institutions from various parts of Tamil Nadu participated in the function. Competitions were conducted and prizes distributed by J. Helan Ratna Monica, Bursar.

ANJA College, Sivakasi, won the overall shield.

Stella Mary, president, Microfiesta, proposed the vote of thanks.

Bavithra Devi and Rajeshwar, students’ secretaries of Microfiesta, had made the arrangements.
