Brisk voting despite rains in Sivakasi

Despite rain, Sivakasians turn up at polling booths, yesterday. It was drizzling throughout the day. The eagerness to exercise their democratic right was palpable among Sivakasi voters as they braved the non stop drizzle to cast their lot. Cutting across age and social backgrounds, the Sivakasi voters turned up at the booth in good numbers. Sivakasi has registered voters turnout of 73.91 per cent during the 2016 Assembly election.
