Sivakasi celebrates birth anniversary of Kamaraj

The 114th birth anniversary of freedom fighter and former Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu, K.Kamaraj, was celebrated across Sivakasi town, on 15th July 2016, Friday. Sivakasians celebrated the 114th birth anniversary of late leader K.Kamaraj by hoisting flag and distributing sweets, pongal, handkerchief, free books and notebooks to the poor students. Various camps were also conducted to mark the occasion. Earlier on 10th July 2016, a massive blood donation camp held at Velankanni Higher Secondary School, Sivakasi.
