No cable tv broadcast in Sivakasi

As the Government undertaken cable TV last week, theres no broadcast of cable channels in Sivakasi - from 5th september 2011, 8 p.m. onwards. The hot topic in the town is cable TV tariff. Government reduced the tariff to Rs.70 - Rs.90 per connection, per month. But there will be no pay channels broadcasted in this connection. Some Sivakasians go for set top box for their home. Some of them already changed to set top box. Really the reduction in cable tariff is a happy news for all the Sivakasians. Everyone in Tamilnadu is eager to see the Govt. undertaken cable channels. The broadcast of this will begin by this week itself. Earlier the local channels such as Vasantham tv and SKM tv were broadcasted from 4th september 2011 itself. Hope there will be regular broadcasting of all local cable channels from next week onwards, in Sivakasi.
