Incessant rain lashes Sivakasi town

Steady rain from 06:00 p.m., drenched Sivakasi town today. The drains were overflowed and the roads remained flooded for some hours. Rainy onslaughts leave several roads damaged, in Sivakasi. Several low-lying areas in the town were inundated after the incessant heavy rain. Rain water harvesting systems, installed in buildings, received copious amount of water. Caught unaware of the non stop rain students and office goers were drenched. And the rain continues and this is recorded super rain for the year 2016. There was no power supply in few areas and really Sivakasi have been suffering from incessant rain.
