2011 Kandha Sasti Festival in Sivakasi

Every year Kandha Sasti festival is celebrated in Sivakasi Subramaniam Temple. Yesterday 26th October 2011 Kandha Sasti Festival began in Sivakasi and all the areas in Tamil Nadu. The six days fasting started from 26th October and ends on 31st October 2011. On the final day of the fasting i.e., on 31st October Surasamharam will be held, in Sivakasi bazaar. On the next day of Sura Samharam, Thirukalyanam will be taken place in Sivakasi Swami Subramaniam temple.
