On 14th April 2018, Saturday, Panguni Pongal Theporsavam held, at evening. As a part of Panguni Pongal, every year Theporsavam is conducted, following Kadaisi Thiruvizha. Hundreds of devotees witnessed the Theppa Thiruvizha. The float was pulled around with the use of ropes. The brightly decorated float drew large crowds in the evening. Special pujas were performed for Goddess Mariamman.
