World Breastfeeding Week observed

On 6th August 2018, Monday, World Breastfeeding Week observed at Sivakasi. The programme was organised by Inner Wheel Club of Sivakasi Pyro Town, to encourage breastfeeding and improve the health of babies. Dr.V.K.Kathiravan was the chief guest for the programme. He stressed the importance of breast feeding. And he also pointed out that it was very essential for the newborn to have breast milk, that would tone up the immune system and keep the baby healthy. Apart from the significance of breastfeeding, the harmful effects of tin food were also explained to the mothers. President Madhu Sharma, Secretary Hema Suresh & Inner Wheel Club members were present on the occassion.
