Campaign promoting entrepreneurship launched

Small Industries Development Bank (SIDBI) of India inaugurated Udhyam Abhilasha campaign in Virudhunagar district on Wednesday.

The campaign is a national-level entrepreneurship awareness initiative that aims at training businesspersons and educating them about various available schemes. Two centres in Virudhunagar and Sivakasi saw sizeable participation, said SIDBI officials.

They added that there was a sharp rise in the number of women and youth who took part.
