Hundreds of lightning strikes put on a show over Sivakasi

Thunder and lightning storms aren’t super common weather events in Sivakasi town, so when they happen here, social media tends to light up. Every year lightning and thunders show happen in Sivakasi, during the month of May. On 15th May 2020, Friday, the town experienced drizzle occasionally from 06:20 p.m. onwards. Due to hundreds of thunders and lightning, there was no power supply in Sivakasi from 06:40 p.m. to 08:40 p.m..
