Phoenix Literary Association inaugurated

The Phoenix Literary Association of the Department of English (PG), Ayya Nadar Janaki Ammal College, Sivakasi, was inaugurated on 26.09.2020 via online by Mr.Sanjay Bhattacharjee, Director, Learning and Talent Development (USA), Hyderabad. In his keynote address on “Career Preparedness”, the speaker invoked the students to be fully prepared mentallyfor career success because it follows the formula of 80%mindset and 20% skill set. When the attitude is high and good, the scope for bright employment opportunities would certainly be more prospective and beneficial. The spirit of readiness to learn, practice and apply will take them to their desired destination. 90 students attended the programme and interacted with the resource person. In her presidential address, Mrs.P.Kalyanasundari, Head, Department of English (PG), highlighted the importance of career planning. Earlier, the gathering was welcomed by the Joint Secretary of the Phoenix Literary Association, Mr.M.Barath, I M.A. English. Mr.V.Madhavan, II M.A. English, the Secretary of the Association, proposed vote of thanks. Ms.G.Mahalakshmi and Ms.M.Shanmugarajeswari emceeyed the programme.
