Seminar conducted at ANJAC

The Department of Tamil (UG) and the Department of English (PG) of Ayya Nadar Janaki Ammal College organized a seminar entitled “Creator of powerful Personalities”. Principal Dr. C. Ashok in his presidential address complimented the multifaceted personality of the Guest of Honour as an ideal example of the expected outcome of the New Education Policy.

Dr. M. Rajendran I.A.S. Tamil Nadu State Co-operative Societies Election Commissioner highlighted, the role of Faith and respect for the ancestry and the elders in our lives. He exhorted the students to put off their hypocrisy and regain their normalcy which would ensure enduring success.

The speaker pointed out that the average and below average students can also come up in their life, with perseverance. Stress can never attack us, if we involve ourselves in multi-tasks. Principles of variety must be followed to drive away boredom. Failure can totally be avoided if students aspire with endeavour. Education has bestowed on us courage and confidence which enable the students society to march on unflinchingly. Every individual has the leadership qualities. The parents inflict great influence on the personality of the children. The secret of energy is learning multi-skills. We must be honest and bold enough to say ‘no’ to the temptations. We should be as dynamic as the flowing stream and not stagnant like a pool. Cordiality and co-coordination with everyone and can promote team spirit and we must expect God’s help only through humans.

Mr.L.P Arumugachamy, Business Magnet and ANJAC alumnus felicitated the Chief Guest. Mrs.P.Kalyanasundari, Head, Department of English (PG) welcomed the gathering. Dr. N. Arulmozhi, Head, Department of Tamil (UG) introduced the Chief Guest. Mr. Manikandan and Ms. Valarmathi, Research Scholars of Tamil mastered the ceremony enthusiastically. Mr. M. Gowtham, I M.A English proposed the vote of thanks. The students actively interacted with the speaker in the floor discussion.
