Rain lashes Sivakasi

Today Sivakasi town receives super rainfall for around 30 minutes between 11:55 to 12:35 p.m.. Sivakasians were surprised by sudden downpour. The sharp showers brought some temporary relief from water crisis, for this Summer 2021. The drains were overflowed and the roads remained flooded for some hours. Rainy onslaughts leave several roads damaged, in Sivakasi. Rain water harvesting systems, installed in buildings, received copious amount of water. Sivakasi weather expected to remain cloudy and there is chance for drizzle / rain for next one week, with maximum and minimum temperature of 38 and 27 degree celsius respectively.
