Sivakasi city celebrates holi with fervour

Sivakasi Marwaris gathered in hundreds in key localities of the city like Velayutharastha, National Colony, Palaniandavarpuram Colony to play and witness Holi. Dancing to the blaring tunes of Bollywood Holi numbers, Marwaris enjoyed Holi. Using huge sprinklers they dispensed coloured water to add to the fun, frolic and festivity of Holi. Drenched in colourful water, the revellers even tried to entice the passersby Sivakasians to join in and celebrate this unique form of Holi with them which continued till late afternoon. Some of them sported colourful wigs to add to the fun.
