Rain hits Sivakasi

Last Sunday Sivakasi receives good rainfall at evening for around 45 minutes. Rain accompanied with thunders, lightning and strong winds, on 17th April 2022, Sunday. Within minutes of a steady rain the town was seen flooded and clogged. Rain water harvesting systems, installed in buildings, received copious amount of water. Sivakasi received consecutive rain for the 10th day on 17th April 2022. On 23rd April 2022, Saturday at morning the town received sharp showers for around half an hour between 07:50 a.m. and 08:50 a.m.., followed by drizzle. For the next few days sky will be partly cloudy with slim possibilities for rain with average maximum and minimum temperature of 38 and 27 degree celsius respectively.
