5aam Thiruvizha held after 2 years

Due to corona lockdown and pandemic restrictions, there was no Chithirai Pongal 5aam Thiruvizha celebration for the last two years (2020 and 2021). Thousands of devotees thronged Mandagapadi for darshan on the special occasion of 5aam thiruvizha - Chithirai Pongal. Mandagapadi was decorated with hundreds of yellow color lights, festoons and papers. The devotees stood in queues from 06:00 p.m.. The fifth day festival was organised by Sivakasi Hindu Nadar Javuli Varthagargal Sangam, on 7th May 2022, Saturday. 5aam Thiruvizhaa is attracting a steady stream of visitors who flock to the Mandagapadi from morning. And Sivakasians are enjoying the festive buzz of 5aam Thiruvizhaa.
