Chithirai Pongal Aindhaam Thiruvizha

Thousands of devotees thronged Mandagapadi for darshan on the special occasion of 5aam thiruvizha - Chithirai Pongal, held on 6th May 2023, Saturday. Mandagapadi was decorated with hundreds of yellow color lights, festoons and papers. The devotees stood in queues from 06:00 p.m.. The town receives non stop drizzle since 7 p.m.. And the drizzle continues till midnight. The fifth day festival was organised by Sivakasi Hindu Nadar Javuli Varthagargal Sangam. 5aam Thiruvizhaa is attracting a steady stream of visitors who flock to the Mandagapadi from morning. And Sivakasians are enjoying the festive buzz of 5aam Thiruvizhaa.
