Christmas celebrated with joy in Sivakasi

Celebrations began with prayers for peace across churches and Christian homes, in Sivakasi. Sivakasi Christians took part in the midnight prayer services at midnight on Tuesday and also in the morning on Wednesday. Exchanging of sweets and greetings and also sharing sweets with the underprivileged and the poor marked the day’s celebrations. This year’s Christmas is special as celebrations related to the 2025th the birth anniversary of Jesus Christ are being observed across the globe.
