Northeast monsoon rain hots Sivakasi

A series of intense rain showers has battered Sivakasi and its surrounding areas, causing widespread disruption to daily life, for the past one week. The town experienced occasional drizzle, throughout the week. In Sivakasi, dealers report sales of fireworks this Diwali season are down, due to Northeast monsoon rain. For the next four days sky will be cloudy with possibilities for rain, with average maximum and minimum temperature of 32 and 25 degree celsius respectively.
