Rain hits Sivakasi

On the evening of 21 November 2025, Friday, the Sivakasi city experienced moderate rainfall accompanied by intense thunder and lightning. The sudden weather change created both pleasant and challenging situations for the Sivakasi residents. The rain started at around 8:00 PM and gradually turned into a downpour. Bright lightning flashes were followed by loud thunder that continued throughout the night. Many areas faced electricity outages. The temperature dropped, giving relief from the humidity. It was bright at day time and rain at evening time. Today the city experienced occasional rainfall, throughout the day, in the presence of the bright sun.
