Sivakasi celebrates HOLI 2026

The festival of Holi was celebrated with great enthusiasm by the Sivakasians on 3rd March 2026, Tuesday. People of all ages gathered to mark the occasion with vibrant colours, music, and joyful festivities. A group of youngsters and families travelled through various streets of the town in a truck playing lively music. As part of the celebration, they visited houses of relatives and friends, greeting everyone and spreading festive cheer.

Participants sprayed coloured water using water guns and joyfully applied colour powders on each other. The Sivakasi streets echoed with laughter and festive songs as they came together to celebrate unity and happiness. Children particularly enjoyed the celebrations, enthusiastically playing with colours and water. Residents warmly welcomed the visitors, joining the celebrations and exchanging festive greetings.
