Light Music Orchestra Programme at Sivakasi Boys School

SHNV Boys School in Sivakasi revived memories of its glorious exhibition era by conducting a grand light orchestra programme for the public after a gap of 11 years. The musical event attracted a large crowd of Sivakasi residents who gathered to witness the celebration. The school had earlier been famous for conducting a 67-year-long annual exhibition, which was considered one of the major attractions in the Sivakasi Town during Chithirai Pongal Festival. However, after 2015, the exhibition was discontinued, due to government rule. After a decade-long break, the management decided to reconnect with the public through a colourful light orchestra programme for Chithirai Pongal moondram thiruvizha to aaram thiruvizha featuring devotional songs and cine songs. The audience enthusiastically cheered throughout the event, while decorative lighting and stage arrangements added grandeur to the night.
