Business Meet on Human Side of Scaling a Business

The Young Entrepreneur School (YES) Sivakasi Chapter conducted its regular business meet on Tuesday, July 28, 2026, at The Bell Hotel, Sivakasi. The theme of the session was “The Human Side of Scaling a Business”, presented by renowned Business Coach and Trainer Ms. Primrose Jasmin.

The meeting commenced with the YES Oath, followed by an introduction of the guest speaker by Mr. Mahendran, President, YES Sivakasi. The session witnessed enthusiastic participation from entrepreneurs and business owners from across Sivakasi. During her engaging two-hour presentation, Ms. Primrose Jasmin highlighted the importance of understanding the difference between Doers and Enablers, encouraging business leaders to become enablers who empower and support their teams to achieve greater success.

A key highlight of the session was her explanation of Sympathy and Empathy in leadership. Using practical workplace examples, she explained that sympathy involves feeling sorry for someone’s situation, whereas empathy means understanding and sharing their feelings from their perspective. She stressed that empathetic leaders build stronger relationships with employees, improve workplace morale, and create a culture of trust and collaboration.

Ms. Primrose Jasmin also discussed how motivating employees, appreciating their contributions, and providing the right support can help organizations scale successfully. Her real-life examples and interactive approach kept the audience engaged throughout the session. A key takeaway from the session was the concept of Human-Centric Processes, where business systems are built to enhance employee engagement, productivity, and well-being rather than focusing solely on operational efficiency.

The programme concluded with an insightful Question and Answer session, where participants clarified their doubts and shared their experiences. The event concluded with a Vote of Thanks by Mr. Jeyanth, Secretary, YES Sivakasi, who expressed gratitude to the speaker and participants for making the session meaningful and informative.
