Cash flow is the oxygen of business, says Raghuram

The Sivakasi Chapter of the Young Entrepreneurs School (YES) celebrated its 19th Chapter Day, titled ‘Pattas Thiruvizha’, at the Diamond Mini Hall of Vairam Meera Convention Centre here on 22nd September, 2026, Tuesday.

Raghuram M., Managing Director, The Anaamalaiss Group (TAG/Toyota), was the chief guest. The programme brought together members of the chapter and entrepreneurs for an evening of interaction, business learning and networking. The programme began with Tamil Thaai Vaazhthu, followed by the YES pledge. Mahendren, President of YES Sivakasi Chapter, welcomed the gathering. Past presidents Prabhakaran, Manikandan and Senthil Vishak were present.

The keynote address by Mr. Raghuram focused on employee engagement, customer satisfaction, financial discipline and the need for businesses to remain sustainable across generations. Sharing a business principle followed by his organisation, he said “Employee Satisfaction (ES) = Customer Satisfaction (CS) = Sustained Business.” He explained that employee satisfaction was closely linked to customer satisfaction and, in turn, to the long-term sustainability of a business. Emphasising the importance of financial management, Mr. Raghuram described cash flow as the “oxygen” of a business and advised entrepreneurs to monitor their cash flow on a daily basis.

This was followed by a fireside chat with Mr. Raghuram, conducted by Senthil Vishak. The interaction covered his business journey, leadership experiences and perspectives on building enterprises capable of sustaining themselves across generations. Jeyanth Kumar, Secretary, presented the secretary’s report. Somnath, who served as the master of ceremonies, conducted the proceedings with humour and kept the audience engaged. The programme concluded with the vote of thanks and the National Anthem, followed by a networking dinner.
