Rain in Sivakasi

There was good rain in Sivakasi on 11th May 2012, Friday, for more than half an hour. Sivakasians expected rain on 8th May 2012, but it failed to rain, instant there was heavy wind accompanied with thunders and lightening on last Tuesday. Lot of tree and branches fallen down in Sivakasi. The summer rain in Sivakasi fulfills the water needs of Sivakasi and increased the ground water level a little.
