Sabarimala Ayyappan Viratham begins

Sabarimala Ayyappan Viratham starts on the 1st day of Tamil month Kaarthigai ( falls on November 16 this year ) for the devotees who intend to Pray Lord Ayyappan on the Mandala Pooja Day. In Sivakasi Ayyappan Kovil Temple and in other Sivakasi temples Ayyappan Devotees started 41 days vratham by putting Thulasi Mala and Rudraksha Mala with Lord Ayyappa locket in the neck. Mala is accepted by Periya Swami / Guru Swami. Special pujas were performed and devotees sung bajans.
