Martyrs Day Observed at SBCP

Martyrs Day was observed at Sankaralingam Bhuvaneswari College of Pharmacy, on 31st January 2013, Thursday. NSS Unit of SBCP organised the function. The gathering observed two minutes silence as a mark of respect to the memory of Freedom Fighters. Dr.A.Thanga Thirupathi, Principal, presided over the function. Prof.Subramanian, in his address, he spoke about the sacrifices made by Magaakavi Bharathiar, to our nation. Ms.Siva Rohini speaks on Gandhiji, Ms.Kalaivani speaks on Nehruji, Ms.Persis speaks about Jansi Rani Lakshmi Bai. In his speech, Prof.Muthu Krishnan pointed out the life of Subhas Chandra Bose, who made the supreme sacrifice for the nation’s Independence. Prof.S.Reghupathi Pandian highlighted in his speech that, it is necessary for all of us to follow the path shown by our freedom fighters who sacrificed their lives for the sake of democracy.
