Rain brings temporary relief at Sivakasi

Sivakasi received sharp drizzle which brought a sigh of relief to Sivakasians, who had been braving sweltering heat with prolonged power outages in the town. Yesterday, thick dark clouds kept hovering over Sivakasi town during the day, bringing down the temperature which had become unbearable during the past few days. Often rain drizzled in Sivakasi, yesterday and at around 6:00 p.m. sharp showers lashed the town for nearly one hour. The sharp showers brought some temporary relief from water crisis. Today maximum temperature will be 33 degree Celsius (average) while the minimum temperature will be 25 degree Celsius, in Sivakasi. The maximum humidity during the day will be 74 percent. Sivakasi weather expected to remain partly cloudy and drizzle for next one day, due to cyclone.
