In Sivakasi Vegetable Market: Lemon turns dearer

During summer, Lemon, which is most sought for being a thirst quencher, has turned dearer in recent weeks in Sivakasi town. A kg of lemon was priced at Rs.20 in the Sivakasi Anna Vegetable market, last week. In the retail markets, one lemon costs Rs.2/-. Last month it was sold out for Rs.160/- per kg.. The fall in price of lemon brings smile in the face of Sivakasians.
