Sathya Sai Seva Samithy organised free eye camp

A free eye camp organised by Sivakasi Sri Sathya Sai Seva Samithy was held here on 15th March 2015, Sunday at Arasan Ganesan Kalyana Mandapam, Sivakasi. Sri Sathya Sai Seva Samithy organised this eye camp along with Aravind Eye Hospital, Madurai. A team of 15 Medical experts was led by four Ophthalmologists from Madurai Aravind Eye Hospital examined the patients at the camp. 350 plus patients were screened under various eye tests. Of them, 68 patients were referred for free surgery to be conducted at Aravind Eye Hospital Madurai. The free services will include eye check up and refraction for glasses, medicines, eye surgery and glasses at discount rate. Around 60 volunteers from Sivakasi Sri Sathya Sai Sevaa Samidhi supported and organised the camp, in a systematic manner.
