College Day Celebrated at AAA College

Sivakasi, AAA College of Engineering & Technology’s Second Annual Day on 3rd April 2015, Friday, brought out the creative best of the students. Thiru N.Sivasubramanian B.E., M.B.A., Senior Scientist, Chief General Manager (Rtd) ISROpresided over the function. Dr. K. Arulmozhi, the Principal presented the Annual Report of the academic year 2014-15 and highlighted the achievements of the students. Thiru P. Panjurajan – Tmy. P. Amaravathy Endowment, Dr.P.Karvannan – Tmt.K.Grahalakshmi Endowment, Dr.P.Ganesan – Tmt.G.Sasimala Endowments and Er.K.Vignesh Kumar – Tmt.V.Abirami Endowment were awarded to the best performers in Academics, Co-curricular, Extra-curricular and Sports respectively. The Chief Guest distributed the awards and the prizes.

The Chief Guest delivered an inspiring speech for the students on setting goal for a bright future. Being a Scientist, the Chief Guest gave experiential speech summarizing his achievements. Like a rainfall that never knows where it lands but has the ability to make a change in the land wherever it falls, the students at this stage may not have a clear vision of what he has to do but should render a service that makes a change in the society he belongs to. Knowledge is acquired only when learning happens with understanding. With the launch of Mangalayan, Indians topped in sending the first satellite that costs low and the one that reached Moon in a very short period of time. He insisted that the Revolution down the ages was a fruitful effect of the growth of knowledge. The Indians Talent was the backbone of the IT revolution that happened in India.

He motivated the budding technocrats of AAA to create Alumnae, share the knowledge to the younger generation yet to come. Knowledge in its real sense has to aid the students achieve the goal and derive success. Personality and Discipline are the key factors to pave way to success. The students have to be social in their responsibility and utilize their time and think productively was his message.

A traditional touch to the celebration was marked by the opening dance, Bharatanatyam, the traditional dance of Tamil Nadu. The performance of the students blended the rich heritage of the country and the rock style of the western dance.

The Annual Day arrangements were well organized by Chairman Shri.P.Panjurajan,Secretary, Dr.P.Karvannan, Correspondent Dr.P.Ganesan, Joint Secretary Er.K.Vignesh Kumar B.E., MBA (UK), Principal Dr.K.Arulmozhi and faculties.
