Workshop on patents

Ayya Nadar Janaki Ammal College, Sivakasi, organised a one-day workshop on patent filing. V. Pandiyarajan, Principal, who presided over the workshop, spoke on converting the literary, artistic, scientific and technical findings into suitable IPR regime.

P. Ponmurugan, Associate Professor of Botany, Bharathiar University, Coimbatore, an expert in IPR with 13 patents, including US patents, made a presentation on the need to convert scientific findings to patent regimes.

R. Manohar, Co-ordinator, IQAC, welcomed the gathering. N. Senthilkumar, Assistant Coordinator, proposed a vote of thanks. J. Jebakumari Beulah Vasanthi, Assistant Coordinator, made the arrangements.
