Sivakasi receives moderate rainfall

Today Sivakasi receives moderate rainfall between 06:15 p.m. to 07:05 p.m.. After a hot sultry day, a band of clouds gathered at evening and rains. Rainfall accompanied with thunders and lightnings. Within minutes of a steady rain the town was seen flooded and clogged. Rain water harvesting systems, installed in buildings, received copious amount of water. Sivakasians were surprised by the sudden downpour. For the next one week sky will be partly cloudy with slim chances for rain, with average maximum and minimum weather of 37 and 27 degree celsius respectively.
