Rain surprises Sivakasians

Last Sunday, Sivakasi town receives moderate rain for around 30 minutes, at evening. After the scorching heat with temperatures reaching 39 degrees Celsius in the last two weeks, moderate rain coupled with thunder gave the much-needed relief to people in Sivakasi, at 04:00 p.m., on 20th March 2022, Sunday. The sudden rain turning the weather cooler in the town. For the next one week sky will be cloudy with chances for rain, with average maximum and minimum temperature of 39 and 27 degree celsius respectively.
