Rain for second consecutive day

Sivakasi town receives moderate rainfall for the last two consecutive days. Yesterday, at evening between 04:15 p.m. and 05:00 p.m., the town received moderate rainfall. Caught unawares by the sudden opening of the skies most Sivakasians especially students, in the absence of umbrellas, were drenched. They took shelter inside nearby buildings, temple pandhals and tea shops. Students reached the home drenched. The sudden rain surprises Sivakasians and chills the ground for few hours. Earlier Sivakasians bear brunt of scorching heat at day time all the days and surprisingly received rainfall at evening. Today there was rain between 04:45 p.m. and 05:15 p.m.. Rainy onslaughts leave several roads damaged, in Sivakasi. Several low-lying areas in the town were inundated after the incessant heavy rain. Rain water harvesting systems, installed in buildings, received copious amount of water. Rain brings smile in the face of Sivakasians. For the next one week sky will be partly cloudy with chances for rain, for the next two days, with average maximum and minimum temperature of 34 and 25 degree celsius respectively.
