Free eye check-up camp held

A free eye camp organised by Sivakasi Sri Sathya Sai Seva Samithy was held here on 26th March 2023, Sunday at Sri Sathya Sai Seva Samithy, Sivakasi. Sri Sathya Sai Seva Samithy organised this eye camp along with Aravind Eye Hospital, Madurai. A team of 20 Medical experts was led by three Ophthalmologists from Madurai Aravind Eye Hospital examined the patients at the camp. 220 patients were screened under various eye tests. Of them, 49 patients were referred for free surgery to be conducted at Aravind Eye Hospital Madurai. The free services will include eye check up and refraction for glasses, medicines, eye surgery and glasses at discount rate. Around 60 volunteers from Sivakasi Sri Sathya Sai Sevaa Samidhi supported and organised the camp, in a systematic manner.
