Rain lashes Sivakasi

On 6th January 2024, Saturday, Sivakasi town received good rainfall for around one hour between 8:45 p.m. and 10 p.m.. And the town experienced drizzle from 06:00 p.m. onwards. The drains were overflowed and the roads remained flooded for some hours. Rainy onslaughts leave several roads damaged, in Sivakasi. Rain water harvesting systems, installed in buildings, received copious amount of water. Earlier the town received first drizzle of the year 2024 on 3rd January 2024. There was non stop shower on 6th January 2024, mid night between 12:15 a.m. and continued till morning. Today there was occasional drizzle from afternoon. Sivakasi weather expected to remain cloudy and there is chance for drizzle / rain for next three days, with average maximum and minimum temperature of 29 and 22 degree celsius respectively.
