Grand Chariot Procession Marks Nava Naal Festival

As part of the Nava Naal festival celebrations, the beautifully decorated chariot carrying the statue of Mother Mary was taken in a solemn procession through the surrounding four car streets of Sivakasi. Devotees gathered in large numbers to witness the event, offering prayers, lighting candles, and singing hymns along the procession route. The chariot, adorned with flowers, lights, and colourful decorations, was ceremoniously pulled by devotees as a mark of faith and gratitude. The procession created a spiritually uplifting atmosphere, with the faithful walking alongside in prayerful silence and devotion.
